WELCOME

As part of O-Week, Monash Business School welcomes you to our Orientation and Clubs Fair, a must attend event for new and recently commenced students. Featuring a mixture of social, academic and interactive sessions including a unique panel and daily quiz, with prizes up for grabs - there is something for everyone!

Take this opportunity to meet your academics, connect with new and existing students, and find out about unique opportunities available to business students.

Orientation is available to everyone, wherever you are in the world! We have sessions on campus, online, or a combination of both if you wish. 

Students currently located in Melbourne are encouraged to attend on campus O-Week activities. Registration is required, so if you have not done so already click here to register now. 

If you are unable to attend campus you can join various O-Week sessions online via our interactive virtual fair. Note: all sessions will be displayed in the Auditorium, located within the fair.

  • Live Chat: Interact with booth holders, staff and other students through group or 1:1 chats

A virtual fair is an online event that takes place over specific days and times to allow you to interact with the Monash University in a virtual environment - you can participate anywhere that you have access to internet. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

Various community members have their own booth, and you can virtually visit each one to find out more about them, view their opportunities and a range of digital content or interact with them through chat.

Please note:
  • This event will open at 9.00am (AEDT) on Monday 21 February 2022 until 7pm (AEDT) Wednesday 23 February 2022, and will remain accessible for a short period after
  • Registration is required via the O-Week planner. If you have not registered click here
  • Yes, registration is required to participate. Register your attendance here
  • All business students who have registered via the O-Week planner by Thursday 17 February will receive an email on Friday 18 February, which will include their login details and generic password to access the fair, and therefore do not need to register through this page.
  • Guests and business students who register after the 18 February can register for the fair by clicking on the ‘Registration’ button at the top of this page
  • Yes you can. Students currently located in Melbourne are encouraged to attend O-Week activities on campus
  • All students who wish to attend on campus O-Week must register via the O-Week planner
  • If the on campus session is fully booked, please register for the online session, via the O-Week planner where available
  • To view all on campus and online sessions being delivered during O-Week, visit the Auditorium which can be found from the main lobby of the fair
There is no requirement for downloads or Flash. The fair is 100% mobile-friendly and works on all modern browsers, all you need is access to the internet.
Note: All sessions will be delivered online via zoom and therefore, access to this software is recommended. Monash University students can access all required software systems and installation requirements here.
No, a webcam is not required in order to participate.
I registered via the Monash O-Week planner. How do I log in?

  • If you registered by the 17 February you will receive an email with your login username and generic password for you to reset on the 18 February. Please check your Monash student email address and click the ‘Login’ button at the top of the page. To reset the generic password, select ‘forgot password’.
  • If you registered after the 18 February, please use the ‘login’ button at the top of the page and enter the email and password you created, when registering via this website.
  • If you are yet to register for the event, click the ‘Guest Registration’ button at the top of the page.
Yes. Like in person events, you can add documents to the virtual ‘Swag Bag’.
Visit the Helpdesk in the lobby during the live event and click on the red 'vFairs tech support' widget or send an email to mbuswelcome@getvfairs.io for any technical assistance.
Visit ask.monash and use the article search bar to find articles, browse the trending topics or submit a question. Also visit the University Orientation Hub, your one stop webpage with essential information.
  • All sessions in the auditorium will open 30 minutes prior to their start time.
  • All sessions will be delivered via zoom. Click here to install zoom if required.
  • All prize winners will be contacted by email to their student email address within fourteen (14) business days of the end of the competition end period.
